Oil on canvas, 24″x30″
Anthony Henday is not a road on which you want to pull over. At the time I took the reference photograph, the narrow ring-road around Edmonton was still in its infancy, and drivers including me disregarded its poorly monitored speed limits. Luckily, my father had his camera in the car, and he agreed to stop once I convinced him that never again would there be a sunset quite like this.
